NOAA nautical charts are distributed by a worldwide network of FAA Authorized Chart Agents or their Sales Outlets. Some Chart Agents also sell NGA public sale nautical charts covering the entire world. The FAA manages the nautical Chart Agent Program for NOAA.

Chart Agents have a choice of either a 40% discount with up to 20% returns for credit for obsolete charts and/or publications or a 50% discount with no return privileges. Chart Agents must net at least $5,000 per year in sales to remain a Chart Agent.
