This website is provided and maintained by NOAA's Coast Pilot Branch (CPB) as a service to the Gulf areas that were damaged by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and the mariners who use these waterways. This website does not supercede Coast Pilot 5. Information sent to CPB for this website is also evaluated for inclusion in the next edition of Coast Pilot 5. Critical information is published in the 8th Coast Guard District's Local Notice to Mariners.
