The Office of Coast Survey (OCS) provides services and products to the marine industry, including the U.S. military, other federal government agencies, international organizations, and hundreds of thousands of shippers, fishermen, and recreational boaters. Increasingly, data gathered for nautical purposes is also used by academia, coastal planners, and the general public.
